Artist Statement

My work moves across film, architecture, conceptual artifact, and ritual performance.
These are not separate disciplines for me,
but interconnected vocabularies—
each offering a different way to ask questions the body might understand
before the mind does.

Myth acts as a compass in this process—
not as something fixed or ancient,
but as a structure alive with pattern and contradiction,
guiding how we enter the unknown.
The myths I work with often arrive from the future—half-formed, bewildered, prophetic.
They speak in symbols that haven’t yet been named.
Because time, in this practice, is not linear.
It folds, loops, disorients, and beckons for a different kind of attention—
one that holds long enough to lose focus.

Then, it becomes possible to dwell—even briefly—in a blur that resembles the origin.
